Wolf Creek Flood Maps

The Wolf Creek Maps were developed and produced by Montgomery County EMA and the APSU GIS Center. The data on this site is provided as a public service and no guarantees or certifications, expressed or implied, are provided regarding accuracy of information herein, its use, or its interpretation. The models are provided for reference and informational purposes only and are intended to model possible flooding scenarios based on Wolf Creek Dam. Because no one knows precisely if, when, or how the dam might fail, these models should be considered as estimations.

This data set was derived by manipulating DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data, aerial imagery and tax map parcel data while referencing Corps of Engineers data for the placement of flooding elevations. Flood elevation from the Corps of Enigneers are considered estimates and may vary up to +/- 15 Feet. Any possible data discrepancies should be brought to the attention of the Montgomery County EMA and the APSU GIS Center.

Projection: Lambert Conformal Conic; Datum: 1983 North American Datum; U.S.G.S. State Plane Zone 4100.
