User tips for checking attributes

To look at the attributes of any layer, simply click the button to activate that layer, and then select the Identify tool. From there, click on the polygon, point, or line you want to identify, and a table will appear under the map.

Using the back button in the mapviewer.

When you are in the mapviewer, you will not be able to press the back button on your browser to return to the website’s homepage. If you try and press the back button, you will get the error, “unable to display MapService”. To remedy this, you can either start up a new browser, or click on the dropdown arrow on your back button, and select the homepage in the list.

Additional data is viewable as the user zooms in with the +magnifier tool.

Additional layers also become viewable at a low level zoom. These layers are not viewable when zoomed out to certain levels, so zooming in closer will make these layers appear. Here are some of the tools and their functions:
